Paul has recently been in the US working on the New American Scenery project. The first public exhibition of artworks produced as a result of his research will be shown at RISD Museum in the autumn of 2019.

The exhibition will form part of celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Andy Warhol’s iconic exhibition Raid the Icebox. In early July he took part in the convening of Raid the Icebox Now

‘To celebrate the exhibition’s 50th anniversary, the RISD Museum is engaging contemporary artists and designers Pablo Bronstein, Nicole Eisenman, Pablo Helguera, Beth Katleman, Simone Leigh, Adam Pendleton, Sebastian Ruth, Paul Scott, Opening Ceremony, and Triple Canopy to create new bodies of work or unique curatorial projects using the museum as a site for critical, creative production and presentation. Employing the galleries and digital platforms as well as spaces beyond the museum walls, these artists will question dominant narratives and highlight the strengths and idiosyncrasies of the museum’s collection to develop a series of projects and exhibitions that will be realized from Fall 2019 through Summer 2020.’
